MENSAJE PARA LAS FAMILIAS

Hoy se han entregado los boletines de evaluación inicial.

El lunes tienen un examen de:
+ los verbos de Inglés (todo lo visto en 5 y lo de ahora de 6: verbos regulares e irregulares, y la tabla de los verbos -ver documento ya subido con write, have y be para servir de ejemplo-)
+ y la "mano" de las 5 Edades de la Historia de la Humanidad, con eventos y fechas. Hay ejemplos subidos.

El día 10, la reunión familias-tutores.

 Yesterday, we read Unit 5 (SS) and we have done book activities. Sergio told us that next Monday there will be an exam of verbs and the hand.

We also read these lessons.
Those who did not read well had to copy the word ten times.
We read about the contemporary history and did some exercises.

Yesterday we made the table of the verb to be and to have. Then we went to the computer room and looked at the blog.

DAY 7

Confirmed: it is Middle AgeSSSSSS but Contemporary Age, Ancient Age and Modern Age.

On 14/9/2018 Sergio remembered us the timeline of the Middle Age and we copied it. We also remembered the hand (mnemonic) of the 5 ages (Prehistory, Ancient Age, Middle Ages, Modern Age, and Contemporary Age) that we saw the previous day.

Yesterday, in English class, first, we were watching other summaries. Second,  we were reviewing the verbs and then Sergio asked us.
     Then, in social class, we made a timeline of the Middle Ages and later he asked us about the hand and the Middles Ages.

He said that today he was going to ask us about the Middle Ages table or timeline.

Today, at class we were checking the summary of yesterday. Then, Mr. Guisado asked the people that didn´t remember the hand of history that he asked us. Finally, we were looking for a timeline of history.

Today in Sergio’s Social Science class, we could read partners’ works.
A partner showed a beautiful History timeline because it was a really good timeline.
We have worked about the past class with Sergio (last Friday lesson).
We work with “the hand”, a very interesting system to remember the most important periods of History:
Prehistory, Old Age, Middle Ages, Modern Age, and Contemporary Age.

DAY 6

On Friday in Sergio's class, we have reviewed history and we have also reviewed the hand of the times and dates of the table. And on Monday Sergio will ask us the dates and times of the story.

On Friday, in the class of Teacher Sergio, at first, we corrected and answered the hand. 
Then, we copied a table and at the end, we were walking in the class to ask history.

On Friday, first, we asked the mnemonic of history because we had to study it at home.
If we knew it, our partner had to write on the agenda: he or she studied the mnemonic. But if we didn’t, the partner had to write: he or she didn’t study the mnemonic.
Then we saw a history timeline from the Middle Age to the Modern Age.

DAY 5 (13th September 2018)

SUMMARY OF THE DAY

Today, 13th September 2018, we reviewed the units 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Social Science. Sergio told us a new form to remember the history with a mnemonic rule. We copied the special words of the three first units and we finished the class.

reviewing what we had left of Natural
Science. He was asking us things about the
subject and we answered them. Then he
put some points in the agenda and we
were losing or winning them depending on the
behavior. And at the end we calculate the
points.

Yesterday in class, we first did a mnemonic about history. The mnemonic was a hand that has the five ages, one in each finger; from the prehistory to the contemporary ages. Then, we did a review of the mountains, rivers, and coasts of Spain. Also, we did a review of the population and economy of Spain and Europe.

The 13/9/2018, at Sergio´s class, we review the 1-5 units of Social Science. Then we draw a hand shaped graphic with the history eras in each finger. We also learn a very easy and funny way of remembering historic dates.

Day 4

Hello, today we have finished reviewing units 6, 7, 8, 9 of natural science in class. Sergio told us his idea of each conversation we talk in English is one point for us, and if we talk in Spanish is one point fewer for us. We started with 50 points. If we reach 100 points, we stop doing this activity, and if we reach 0 points Sergio told us that we were going bad. This is what we did today in class.

Today we did the end of the review of Natural Science. We looked at the expectations for this course.
Tomorrow we will have to bring again the papers that Sergio gave us before the summer to study.

We reviewed with Sergio the units 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Natural Science. We also practiced our vocabulary with the most important words of this units. Then Sergio tells us that if we speak in Spanish we will have more points, but if we speak in English we will have more points.

DAY 3


Today we did a review of Natural ScienceSergio has asked us about the papers to study during summer but we have not given them yet, we will have to bring them on Wednesday. For homework we need to do a painting and/or a writing in the agenda about what we expect and wish for this year.

This is a summary of what we did in the class. We were doing a test of Natural Science from unit 1 to unit 5. The questions were of every unit. If they were correct, we ticked them and if they were wrong we put a cross. Finally, we had to take notes of the names, the telephone numbers and the birthdays dates.

DAY 2


Today at school we did a review from day 1.

After we finished with the review we made a little English initial self-assessment test.

After the self-assessment test we put posters of everything we learned in 5th grade. The first ones to put the posters were the ones with the highest marks.

Sergio also told us that the papers he gave us before summer were for Wednesday.

DAY 1


The teacher welcomed us to 6th grade, gave us the new blog website, and we read it.

He expects us to be the best human beings we can be (not mediocre), and warn us about physical, psychological and sociological changes that are prone to appear in this period of life, so we must take them into consideration and react with intelligence (not with fear or ignorance).

We were talking in English about our summer holidays with the classmates, and the teacher assigned our new positions in the class.

Sergio will ask us for 'the papers' on Monday because there were a few friends missing.

He forgot to mention that we should bring on Monday our 5th grade notebooks to help with the review and to continue using them. (No 5th grade books needed).
